…I’m a hopeless Merlin fan. Bradley, Colin, I hope you’re proud of yourselves. I would never have heard that blasted earworm of a song if it wasn’t for you.
I’m glad that someone else does this too :D

citychic11:
I’m tumbling, reblogging pictures of Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock and things.
My friend is sitting next to me and watching me Tumblr. Every time I reblog a photo, particularly of Benny or Sherlock things, he goes, *Scoff*
My response:
They just don’t get it, do they?

More good news!
Just had my meeting with my HSP advisor regarding the Scholar’s Semester at Oxford this evening.
Here’s how it goes:
1) Primary/secondary tutorial + University lectures (6 + 3 credits)
2) The British Landscape with lens of choice (4 credits)
3) Integrative Seminar with lens of choice (4 credits)
There are no options for lenses of the sciences, so I pretty much get to choose...

Dearest Body,
Can you keep it together long enough for me to focus on reading The Communist Manifesto for my Western Civ reflection paper? Please?
I would much appreciate it. I also have to finish two lab report write-ups.
You don’t have to keep having random pains to get my attention. I know you’re still there.
Sincerely,
Me

merlinsfirstlove asked: Just dropping by to say I'm so happy for you about getting all that school stuff worked out!!!! It's always satisfying to play around with classes and actually have it work out (that's basically what I've done since college, only I just keep seeing how much I can possibly pile on, haha). :) And a huge CONGRATS on your nomination!!! That truly is fantastic. :D

Holy crap.
HO.LY.CRAP.
So I’ve been seriously contemplating changing my major(s) from Biology and Spanish to a Sports Medicine major and Spanish minor as of late, yes?
At first, I thought that this would put me behind because of the course scheduling of these particular programs.
But.
The other day, while I was working on calculus at 2 in the morning, I decided to write up a four-year plan for this...

It’s nearly 11:30PM
What am I doing?
Not calculus.
Instead?
I’m eating carrots with a glorious crunchy peanut butter/honey mixture.

cosmicsquirrels asked: I know! ISFP mostly describes me perfectly, with ISTP covering the missing areas. We're hard to come by, I think. I saw it in your secondary possibilities, and I went: "OH MY GOODNESS!!!! THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY GET THAT TOO?" Ahaha. So I had to mention it. :D

Random fun moment of the day
citychic11:
On hold with my local bank, and there’s music playing.
Turns out it was Phantom of the Opera.
Music of the Night to be precise.
Which is 1. Awesome. and 2. a little creepy to be coming from the bank.
“Grasp it. Feel it. Tremulous and tender-” “Thank you for holding. Your checks are in the mail.”

…One of the ‘mystery’ networks that my has detected is named ‘click here for giraffe std’.
…Alrighty, then. That’s one way to keep the hackers away.
Oh my gosh, I’m glad someone else has noticed that! XD
I think it’s the group of guys living in ‘Nana (‘Naner?) Manor by the Honors House.
Needless to say, I was rather amused.

MBTI Official Result
After taking an official MBTI test for LSI, I finally got a legitimate result.
I can deal with this.
Although, I certainly relate to INTJ and ISFJ as well.
This would definitely helps in explaining my incessant desire/need to have things defined/categorized/labeled.

Child, I told you that you should have a support group when you finally got around to watching it. I was lazying around attempting homework when I found this out.

I tried to buy Sherlock series 2 from Amazon UK…
Words cannot express my sadness.
But…I’m an American and I bought season 2 on blu-ray from Amazon UK…..and it arrived…and I watch it all the time…
Seriously?? How? Teach me your magical ways!!
(I’ve tried multiple places, but they refuse to ship it to the US apparently).

merlinsfirstlove asked: It's Benedict Cumberbatch. He bewitches the mind and ensnares the senses. (I seem to have a similar-ish problem; my blog's basically Merlin with some Doctor Who and Sherlock thrown in there sprinkled with English major-ness and a rather heavy dosage of attractive cast members of aforementioned shows.)

My lack of logic astounds me sometimes.
After that last post, I promptly went to the Benedict Cumberbatch tag.
Can one (or a few) of you act as my sense of reason?
I’m not sure what’s happening.
But it is becoming apparent that my actions are being influenced.
By an intelligent, high-talented, well-spoken English man, no less.
Welp.

Just checked my liked posts
At least 8 out of every 10 are somehow Benedict-related.
Welp.

Question
Does anyone know of effective methods of increasing one’s vocal range?
I ask because my range is awkwardly stuck between (approximately) the alto and mezzo-soprano ranges. I enjoy singing, especially for musical theatre, but due to my situation I am much less likely to successfully get cast.
Any advice/suggestions?
