Your brother is like an excellent candidate to fight off anyone. Your brother is like Captain America…And I mean that in a totally non-objectifying way, I mean. Like he’s really nice and probably excels at beating things up. No…bro…hetero…omg

I find your response rather amusing, Chelsey XD

And how choice an example, given the fact he’s a patriotic Marine and his physical build…wait…

QURLLLL YOU CHECKIN’ OUT MY BROTHER??

3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
I would call my parents and tell them what has happened. I’d tell them that I love them, and that I will do everything I can to make sure that I come home safe.

13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
Umm, the only time I can think of was back in February this year. He was a friend—well, more accurately, an acquaintance—who told me that had feelings for me and that he wanted to date. Since this was a situation to which I am most definitely not accustomed, it was super awkward at first. (Thank goodness, for my sake, I had missed the phone call and just listened to the voicemail. Like the horrible person I am, I acted like I had not gotten the message; but, I did acknowledge that I got a phone call after the weekend. I may or may not have legitimately freaked out and immediately texted two of my close friends, desperately asking what to do because this never happened—nor did I ever expect it.) I told him that I was flattered, but that I did not want to lead him on; I was also practically married to my studies, and I could not afford having a relationship like that on top of it all.

18. Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. Who do you wish was there with you?
I am slightly confused by this question: who do I wish the person was? Or, since it’s dark and therefore creepy, who do I wish was with me in case of encountering whoever it is outside my window?
I shall answer both, I suppose.
(a) Honestly, I don’t know who I wish it would be. I mean, it’s kinda creepy to be walking in my backyard by my window. Hard to think of any possible positive interactions in that case.
(b) My brother. I would fully trust him and his capability to protect me if need be. If it turned out to be something that we didn’t need to worry about or it was someone we knew and there were no ill intentions, then we’d both have a laugh about it.

4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
I think that I would only inform a select few people, namely my parents, my brother, and a few close friends. I wouldn’t want a ton of people worrying and suffering because of me, but I think a few people have the right to know. I would want to live my last days as normally as possible, enjoying the simple things—although, I would definitely want to cross a few things off my bucket list first (i.e. traveling to the UK, meeting certain people, etc). Initially, yes, I would be afraid. But, for the sake of those closest to me, I would keep a stiff upper lip and accept it for what it is.

21. You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
I would let my grandmother go. She would know that I love her dearly, but she would also understand that she has also lived a good and full life. It would definitely be extraordinarily difficult, don’t get me wrong. I would most certainly say my goodbyes and tell her before, though. The child has his/her entire life ahead of him/her; I could never live with myself if I had not given him/her a chance to lead his/her own life.

I just realized

Every time I go to make coffee

I only know how much to put in for half a pot (which is usually enough for 2 people in my house), and I literally CANNOT make any other amount.

I AM ARTHUR SHAPPEY.

That.

Is.

BRILLIANT!

:D We shall be Arthur’s together! And it will be brilliant!

It’s going to be an interesting experience, to say the least.

I mean, me—the Douglas of the group—suddenly having Arthurian tendencies.

But it’ll be BRILLIANT!!

Well, even Douglas had an Arthur moment. Remember the keys in the piano? “Douglas. You clot!”

You make a good point, my dear Arth-Kaitlyn.

I just hope that I don’t start getting too Martin-like.

I love Martin (ours and the Captain), but I don’t think I can handle being more Crieff-y than I already am—nor could anyone else handle it, I imagine.

I wish we said “fancy” in America. As in, “I fancy you.” It’s such a more agreeable term than “I have a crush on you.”  What’s a crush? Like, I AM A BOA CONSTRICTOR AND I AM GOING TO IMMOBILIZE YOU WITH MY MISPLACED AND OBSESSIVE AFFECTION.  “I fancy you” is like, you’re so shiny and glittery and I just want to put you on a shelf and look at you for a while ‘cause you’re fancy.

heyguysiwrotesomething asked: I think you should try and track down a recording of Disney's Finding Nemo on Ice if only for the name. Did no one realize why that is a bad name?

OH MY GOODNESS

That is golden. Terrible, but golden.

I am surprised that no one caught that before they went ahead with the name XD

Of course, added haha.

heyguysiwrotesomething replied to your postDo you watch the Lizzie Bennet diaries? Also, are you up to date with Homestuck? I would love to discuss recent updates and speculation and such.

What a coincidence! I am in the middle of reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Really?? Ha!

I’ve heard some great things about it. Let me know how you like it! (I might add it to my To-Read List.)

merlinsfirstlove asked: You should definitely see both the live-action Disney and SyFy versions of Alice in Wonderland, as well as The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Count of Monte Cristo (the book's worth a read as well), Princess Bride (book is also good), A Knight's Tale, and Quest for Camelot, if you haven't seen those. :)

Ooo, I wasn’t aware there were any other live-action adaptations of Alice in Wonderland! Snazzy!

Surprisingly, I haven’t seen Quest for Camelot. I am disappointed in myself. *sigh*

No, I don’t! At least, not yet haha. I still haven’t finished Pride and Prejudice—much to my chagrin—but I shall put it on the list! (I’ll just make sure to finish reading first.)

I haven’t made too much progress since we last talked about it, so I doubt that I’m caught up =/ (One of these daaaaaaaaays *shakes fist*)

Just cooked an entire can of corn for myself.

What was I thinking?
